Legal notice — Pasticlock

Please read carefully before using Pasticlock. This notice complements the product Privacy Policy.
1. Service and controller identification
Pasticlock is a mobile application (iOS and Android) for medication and appointment reminders, offered by VK Solutions (vksolutions.com.mx).

2. Nature of the service
Pasticlock is an organization and reminder tool. It does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or a medical/healthcare device.
The app does not replace guidance from a healthcare professional or the medicine leaflet/instructions. It does not guarantee clinical outcomes or therapeutic adherence.
3. User responsibility
The user is solely responsible for:
- Correctly registering names, conceptual doses, times, and duration as indicated by their healthcare professional and the leaflet.
- Verifying that reminders are appropriate for their particular situation.
- Consulting a doctor for questions, adverse effects, treatment changes, or emergencies.
- Keeping the system permissions needed to receive alerts enabled.
4. Timing accuracy and device operation
Timely delivery of notifications depends on factors outside VK Solutions' exclusive control, including: notification/alarm permissions, battery and power optimization settings, Do Not Disturb mode, connectivity when needed for purchases, OS version, and overall device condition.
Pasticlock v1 operates locally (SQLite on the device), with no account and no cloud sync of history to our own backend. Deleting the app or its data may remove local information.
5. Intellectual property
The Pasticlock name, logo, interface, code, and other product content are owned by VK Solutions or used under license. Unauthorized reproduction, modification, distribution, or exploitation is prohibited, except as allowed by law or express license.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Mexican law, VK Solutions will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages arising from the use or inability to use Pasticlock, nor for forgotten doses, incorrect intakes, missed appointments, or health decisions made based on use of the app.
Nothing in this notice aims to waive or limit mandatory consumer rights or other public-order provisions that cannot be waived under Mexican law.
7. Third parties and app stores
Distribution and in-app purchases are handled through the App Store and Google Play. Apple, Google, and other purchase intermediaries may apply their own terms, privacy policies, and payment, refund, and subscription conditions. VK Solutions does not control those third-party services.
The declared Android package for the app is com.pasticlock.
8. Governing law and jurisdiction
This notice is governed by the laws of the United Mexican States. For interpretation and enforcement of this notice, the parties submit to the competent courts in Mexico, without prejudice to non-waivable consumer rights under applicable law.
